• Poor Heating or Cooling: The room takes a long time to reach a comfortable temperature, or never quite gets there.
  • Higher Power Bills: Your system seems to run constantly or costs more than expected to operate.
  • Unusual Noise: Rattling, grinding, loud vibration or persistent new noises can signal a fault or wear.
  • Inconsistent Airflow: Weak airflow, temperature swings or error codes can affect comfort and performance.
  • Any electrical upgrades, dedicated circuits or switchboard work required for safe installation.
  • Removal and responsible disposal of an existing heat pump, where applicable.

How long does a heat pump installation take?

Many standard single-room split system heat pump installations can be completed in a day. Multi-room systems, difficult access, longer pipe runs or additional electrical work may take longer. We will explain the expected timeframe before work begins.

What size heat pump do I need?

The right heat pump size depends on more than floor area. We consider the room size, insulation, window area, ceiling height, sun exposure, layout and how you use the space. A site assessment helps us recommend a heat pump that is well matched to your home.

Do heat pumps provide cooling as well as heating?

Yes. Most modern residential heat pumps are reverse-cycle systems, meaning they provide warmth in winter and cooling in summer. We can help you choose a system that suits Auckland’s year-round conditions and the comfort needs of your household.
